Nescafé Get Rich Quick: Bringing receipt entry and prize management together

A promotion can offer several opportunities to win while still keeping the customer’s first step simple. Nescafé’s Get Rich Quick programme used a qualifying purchase and an online receipt upload to begin that experience.
After Nescafé’s 2022 promotion, Snipp developed Get Rich Quick. Customers who bought qualifying Nescafé products could upload their receipts online for a chance to win a daily $500 prepaid digital card and enter a sweepstakes with a $10,000 cheque awarded each month.
The experience was available in English and French. It also included a separate no-purchase entry route and a tracker displaying how much prize money had been won.
Snipp managed the microsite, instant-win game, receipt validation, sweepstakes and prize fulfilment. The prizes were set in dollars. Snipp’s Nescafé case study describes the programme.
The campaign is interesting because it connects the customer-facing experience with the work needed to administer it. A customer may only see a receipt upload and a prize result, but the team also needs to manage eligibility, draw entries and fulfilment.
The prize tracker added another visible part of the experience. Rather than only describing the available rewards, the site showed the amount already won.
The daily and monthly opportunities also gave the promotion two timeframes. One related to an immediate chance of a smaller reward; the other to a larger draw.
Nescafé’s programme planned the entry process, the reward opportunities and the administration together. Snipp ran the receipt checks and the prize fulfilment.
