Creating loyalty through a transparent till slip competition

Loyalty follows trust. A till slip competition earns that trust when the rules are clear, the entry is simple, and people can see that their slip was actually received. Run it that way and shoppers come back. Run it as a black box and they do not.
1. Clear rules
Say what to do, what the prizes are, and how winners are picked. Put it on WhatsApp, in an app, or on the site, in plain language. Show an example of a slip that qualifies. Spell out the steps. Confusion is what makes a competition feel rigged.
2. An easy way in
A fiddly form costs you trust as well as entries. Let people send a photo on WhatsApp, in a branded app, or on a web page, and offer more than one of those if the audience is mixed. The entry channels are listed on how shoppers enter.
3. A reply in the moment
When the photo goes in, people want to know it landed. An instant confirmation, and later a note when winners are chosen, keeps the competition feeling open from the first slip to the last prize.
4. A fair check
Fraud is what makes a big prize feel unfair. Smartslip.ai uses image checks to catch a duplicate and a slip that has been tampered with, so a genuine entry is competing with genuine entries. Tell people that. Fairness you explain is fairness they believe. The limit, said plainly, is that not every altered image is found. The method is in how duplicate and fraudulent slips are stopped.
Two brands, same idea
Brand A wanted sales and engagement. Clear rules, WhatsApp plus a branded app, and a confirmation the moment the slip arrived. Trust went up, and many of the same people entered again through the campaign.
Brand B had high-value prizes and a fraud worry. Duplicate and tampered slips were picked out automatically. Shoppers noticed the draw stayed fair, and that fairness is what turned a one-off entry into loyalty.
What to keep doing
- Say the rules, the entry and the prize in language a shopper can repeat.
- Offer more than one easy way to send the slip.
- Confirm the entry, then keep people posted.
- Check for duplicates and altered slips, and say that you do.
- Name the winners in public. A quiet draw does not build loyalty.
If the longer relationship is stamps or points rather than a single draw, that sits on SmartLoyalty, and it still starts with a slip that passed.
